The Nectarine No9 release their 5th album, ' I Love Total Destruction'. Written and produced by the group in their native Edinburgh, ILTD sees NN9 continue to develop their mercurial underground guitar noir. It follows on from last year's incubator demix E.P., 'Society Is A Carniverous Flower', which featured deconstructs by an eclectic array of artistes (Twitch, Bill Wells & Norman Blake, Transelement, Scientific Support Dept, Colditz, and Future Pilot AKA).

' I Love Total Destruction' (BBQCD 236) is the latest dispatch by NN9, and is their strongest work to date. They are joined by ex Pop Group majordomo & free-jazz spirit, Gareth Sager, who contributes fuzz clarinet and piano. Former Josef K and Postcard alumni, Malcolm Ross, guests on guitar.

The band play live at the Penny Black Music Night on Thursday 15th April at The Spitz, London EC1 and at the Triptych Festival on Saturday 1st May in Aberdeen, Drummonds and on Sunday 2nd May in Glasgow, Tron Theatre. Both of these festival dates have support from Future Pilot AKA and Gareth Sager.

The Nectarine No.9 have just completed their new studio album. Entitled "I Love Total Destruction", it is scheduled for release early-2004.

Davy Henderson's Nectarine No 9 recently released an EP of remixes of 'Pong Fat6' by the likes of DJ Twitch, Bill Wells & Norman Blake, Colditz, Future Pilot aka, Scientific Support Dept and Transelement.
